적용 | To continuouslym catalytically dehydrogenate light paraffins, typically in the C3 to C5 range, to their respective mono-olefins using the Oleflex process. |
설명 | Descriotion: The Oleflex process combines the high activity and selectivity of a Pacol-type catalyst with UOP's continuous catalyst regeneration (CCR) technology. The fresh feed, recycle feed, and hydrogen recycle gas are combined and passed through the reactor effluent-feed exchanger for heat recovery. The heated combined feed is then processed in a number of heater (1,3,5) and reactor (2,4,6) combinations in series. After passing through the feed-effluent exchanger, the reactor effluent is cooled, compressed (7), and sent to a cold sepatation section (8), where recycle gas and net separator gas (90% hydrogen purity) are removed. The liquid product, after dissolved light ends are removed via the stripper column (9), is sent to an olefins recovery or reaction unit (10), such as a propane-propylene splitter column for the recovery of high-purity propylene or an MTBE unit to react out isobutylene. Slightly aged catalyst is withdrawn continuously from the last reactor (6) and transferred to the CCR unit (11), where it is regenerated at steady-state conditions. The regenerated catalyst is returned to the first reactor (2). This way, the process maintains a steady-state catalyst performance. The UOP Oleflex process finds application in the manufacture of propylene from propane, isobutylene from isobutane, n-butenes from n-butane and amylenes, and isoamylene from pentane and isopentane, respectively. Other combinations based on mixed feeds are equally possible. When processing C4s, the UOP Ole flex process can be advantageously used in conjunction with UOP's Butamer process for the isomerization of n-butane; with the Huels MTBE process for the production of MTBE; with UOP's C4 Olex process for the recovery of high-purity butylenes; with UOP's HF Alkylation process for the production of high-octane motor fuel alkylate; or with catalytic condensation for the production of gasoline, distullate or petrochemical olefins.
