ON THE CHEMICAL-DETECTION OF BIOAEROSOLS
Chemical methods for the detection of bioaerosols are relatively fast, sensitive and in many cases specific. Chromatographic methods, laser spectroscopical methods, fluorescence and luminescence spectroscopies, as well as infrared, Raman and mass spectroscopies are very useful tools for the identification of bioaerosols. The review deals with the description and critical evaluation of these methods and discusses the research needs and further developments.
