The inner and outer conditions of fluidized bed drying process have been characterizEd. The reasons for interest of investigators in useful semi-empirical methods applied to fluidized bed systems have been given. An effective method for process calculations based on both the idea of general drying curve and the bubbling bed model has been proposEd. Some proposals for minimization of the range of necessary laboratory tests have been introduced as well.
