Procedure of working out the deodorization the installation project assumptions is proposed. It was stated that examinations of the gas samples purified in similar industrial or experimental devices must encompass determinations of threshold odour number (LJZ, TON [ou/m(3)]) and Weber-Fechner coefficient. The manner of determination of the area on which the purified gases odours will be smelled as faint, strong and very strong is described.
