A variety of driving forces employed in membrane processes has led to their multiplicity, although according to the nature of membrane processes they arc easily integrated with other unit processes. The paper presents possibilities of process integration that lead to increase in efficiency of separation systems. Process possibilities and advantages coming from membrane reactor application, the most advanced example of integrated process are being shown.
