Effects of turbulent mixing on parallel chemical reactions in a continuous-flow stirred-tank reactor
The paper is focused on effects of turbulent mixing on the course of parallel homogenous chemical reactions carried out in a continuous-flow stirred-tank reactor. Effects of turbulent mixing on the selectivity of parallel chemical reactions are investigated experimentally and interpreted theoretically. Problems of relaxation of the concentration spectrum and the time scale of the inertial - convective mixing are discussed as well.
