The best structured carrier has been selected and a manner has been presented of depositing on it a vanadiaphosphoria catalyst. The catalyst packing has been placed into a tubular reactor and a process of selective oxidation of n-butane to maleic anhydride has been realised. The conversion and selectivity towards maleic anhydride were quite good. The carrier studied could be applied in the industrial plants of maleic anhydride.
