Wall effects for bubbles flow in Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids
Experimental investigations of wall effects during flow of single bubbles in a quiescent Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids were carried out. Simple correlations for the wall effects coefficient in Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids have been proposed. In a case of non-Newtonian liquids wall effects were lower than for analogical shape and size of bubbles rising in Newtonian liquids.
