Solubility and nucleation in L(+)-ascorbic acid - methanol - ethanol -water system
Solubility in L(+)-ascorbic acid - methanol - ethanol - water system was determined. Stochastic model of nucleation for seeded solutions, proposed by Kubota [1], was used to describe the process. Constants in this equation were determined from the measurements of critical supercooling of examined solutions at constant cooling rate ranging from 4.17(.)10(-3) to 33.33(.)10(-3) K/s.
