SO(2) absorption in hollow fibre membrane module
The absorption of SO(2) from N(2) in water was studied in a hollow fibre module, new development of Hoechst Celanese Corporation, which is characterised by cross flow fluid. The gas and liquid flows were countercurrent. The amount of SO(2) absorbed was high even for a SO(2) - water system. Analyses of experimental date showed that above value 10 of L/G the absorption didn't depend on this parameter, because it is high as 100 %.
