Mass transfer in columns equipped with structured reactive packing
The results of the investigations of the mass transfer in the liquid and gas phases for the reactive packing MULTIPAK are presented. The studies have been carried out for a column 250 mm. in diameter using carbon dioxide-air-water and ammonia-air-water systems. Basing at the experimental results, appropriate correlation equations have been elaborated. The comparison of the mass transfer intensity has been performed between the packing MULTIPAK and three conventional structured packings.
