The results of investigations of the structured catalyst carriers for processes of selective oxidation are presented. Several structures of carriers are shown as well as experimental results of investigations of heat transfer and flow resistance. The methods of selection of optimal solutions are discussed. The preparation technique of deposition of the VPO catalyst on the metal surface is described. The process of n-butane selective oxidation to maleic anhydride is realised and kinetic rate constants estimated.
