The simulation of gas - solid flow hydrodynamics in circulating fluidised bed boiler is presented. The calculations were performed for two solid materials and different inlet gas velocities. The obtained results confirmed that dense and thin phase exiting in the riser could be described by the same equations of the assumed model.
