Optimum temperature profiles in a fixed-bed reactor for systems of complex chemical reactions accompanied by external diffusion
The optimum temperature profiles in a fixed-bed catalytic reactor for the system of three consecutive-competing reactions with external diffusion were determined. The shape of optimum temperature profiles can be decreasing curve, increasing curve or decreasing-increasing curve. They do not need to begin or end by maximum limiting value of temperature.
