Particle formation in turbulent flows with the use of supercritical fluids
A model of supercritical antisolvent precipitation in turbulent flows has been proposed. The method combines the non-equilibrium model for scalar dissipation with the conditional moment closure based on the Beta PDF. The proposed method has been implemented into the CFD code to constitute the complete procedure for prediction of the course of particle formation processes.
