The modelling of ion-exchange equilibrium for two component systems
The ion-exchange equilibrium constant in two-component solution was estimated for the Langmuir, Nikolski, and thermodynamic isotherm models. Calculations were done taking into account: (i) concentration of ions in both phases, (ii) activity of ions in liquid phase and concentration in solid phase, (iii) activity of ions in both phases.
