Studies of the mixing time within the transitional regime of the viscous liquid flow in a stirred tank with an eccentrically located propeller
An effect of the eccentric position of the shaft of the propeller stirrer was studied within the transitional regime of the flow of a viscous Newtonian liquid in a stirred tank without baffles. The effects of the location of the tracer dosage point and measuring point of the mixing time, as well as, liquid circulation on the results of the measurements were also analyzed. The results of the studies were described using Eqs. (1)-(3).
