Circulating reaction zone in a double-bed chemical reactor
The work presents investigations of a new double bed reactor with circulating reaction zone (DBCR). Introduction of a cycling change in position of a feed poin results in reaching cycling steady state (CSS) of the reactor and avoiding of a discharge of nonreacted gases into the atmosphere. Which was taking place when a standard reverse flow reactor was used. More over it was showed that the new construction pet-forms with longer cycling times than a standard reactor.
