The effect of several variables on the average diameter of capsules obtained by dripping of sodium alginate solution into the calcium chloride solution under high-voltage electrostatic field was investigated. The greatest influence on reduction of capsules sizes exhibited: increase in the voltage of electric field, diminishing the distance between electrodes and reduction of capillary diameter in the dropper.
