The reaction of p-nitrotoluenosulfonic acid oxidation is carried out using air in alkaline water solutions. This is a system of consecutive-parallel chemical reactions which take place in a heterogeneous gas-liquid system. The kinetics of chemical reactions taking place in the system was investigated and a mathematical model of this reaction was proposed.
