Mathematical modelling of multicomponent mass transfer and simultaneous mass and heat transfer in basic types of absorbers
A uniform mathematical model used for a quantitative description of the processes of multicomponent mass transfer and simultaneous mass and heat transfer in basic types of absorbers (plate columns, packed and bubble- type) is formulated in the paper. The mathematical model consists of the equations of mass and heat transfer kinetics and material balance equations as well as heat balance equations for gas and liquid phases flowing through the absorber.
