The possibility of various applications of membrane contactors for removal of organic components from water have been presented. In the experiments, as a membrane contactor the UF hollow fiber module with polysulphone membrane has been applied. To enhance the process efficiency, the solubilization of p-cresol molecules in micelles created by surfactants CTAB and SDS was applied. The kinetic constants and diffusion resistance of the membrane were determined.
