Synthesis of higher aliphatic alcohols. Alcohol yield and the liquid product composition
The results of investigations of the synthesis higher aliphatic alcohols from synthesis gas are presented. The experiments were carried out in a high pressure fix-bed reactor. The influence of composition of synthesis gas, temperature, pressure and GHSV on an alcohol yield and a liquid product composition were determined over the catalyst 53.1 CuO, 26.8 ZnO, 6.6 Al2O3, 3.9 Fe2O3, 7.9 MoO3, 1.7 ThO2, 1.0 KOH [wt. %]. The catalyst was obtained by decomposition of citrates.
