Gas-solids mixture flow through a two-bend system
A pneumatic conveying pulverized material has a wide range of application in industrial installations. During conveying uncontrolled particle segregation usually occurs. In this paper, a gas-solids mixture flow through two-bend system was subject to an analysis. During the tests turning it around the axis of revolution changed the second bend arrangement. The non-homogeneity coefficient has been defined, allowing determining the intensity of particle segregation during transportation.
