Unsteady heat transfer from a circular cylinder in a turbulent oscillation flow
The response of the heat transfer from stationary circular cylinder due to inlet stream pulsations has been discussed. The general aim of the paper was to establish a qualitative dependence between the oscillating inflow, local unsteady heat transfer and surface aerodynamic characteristics. It has been confirmed that the vortex shedding synchronization is an important factor affecting and amplifying the forced convection from the cylinder.
