The analysis of the influence of process and constructional parameters of an airlift reactor on a possibility of appearing a microorganisms' anoxia has been presented. For this purpose, tanks-in-series model describing the analyzed reactor has been introduced. The calculations were made for two-substrate kinetics. The results are presented as hysteresis loops of steady-states.
