The effects of the impeller eccentricity and pumping mode of an eccentric impeller on the mixing time in a stirred tank have been considered. Mixing time was measured by the thermal method. The effects of the position of the dosage point of the thermal tracer and physical properties of the liquid on the results of the measurements have also been analyzed.
