Optimization of hydrogen volumetric storage capacity for microporous carbon materials
The concept of adsorptive of hydrogen storage at reduced pressure was analyzed. The method of improving hydrogen storage capacity has been proposed. Active carbons seem to be a suitable medium for the storage of hydrogen. The volumetric hydrogen uptake, the bulk and particle densities of adsorbent, as well as the operating conditions become important factors influencing the storage density. The results show that the adsorption technique Could provide a viable method for hydrogen storage.
