The paper deals with experimental studies directed on the determination of mixing time t(m) for polymer and surfactant solutions. The surfactant used was tetradecyltrimethyloammonium bromide. Polyacrylamide, polyethylene dioxide and partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide were used as polymeric additives. The comparison of experimental results obtained using optical method showed that they are in good agreement with the Ruszkowski proposition.
