The effect of the liquid phase physicochemical properties on the hydrodynamics of a trickle-bed reactor operating in an induced pulsing flow
The hydrodynamic parameters of a trickle-bed reactor operating in a forced pulsing flow have been determined experimentally. The experiments were carried out for both fast and slow modes of base-impulse periodic liquid feeding and using liquids differing in physicochemical properties. The equations correlating the measured values of dynamic liquid holdup and gas pressure drop were derived.
