Densities and viscosities of binary mixtures of polyethylene glycol 350 monomethyl ether with n-butanol and n-pentanol and tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ethers with n-propanol, n-butanol, and n-pentanol from 278.15 K to 318.15 K
The density and viscosity of binary mixtures of polyethylene glycol 350 monomethyl ether with 1-butanol and 1-pentanol and tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether with 1-propanol, 1-butanol, and I-pentanol were measured at five different temperatures (278.15, 288.15, 298.15, 308.15, and 318.15 K) and at atmospheric pressure. The measurements were carried out over the whole range of composition. Viscosity values were used in the determination of the viscosity deviation, Deltaeta, which was fitted to the Redlich-Kister equation and was compared with the predicted values obtained by the viscosity regular term.
