Equilibrium data for poly(propylene glycol) plus sucrose plus water and poly(propylene glycol) plus fructose plus water systems from (15 to 45)degrees C
Liquid-liquid equilibrium data for aqueous two-phase systems formed by poly(propylene glycol) + sucrose and poly(propylene glycol) + fructose were measured from (15 to 45) degrees C and (15 to 25) degrees C, respectively. The influence of temperature on the behavior of these, systems was also analyzed. A rise in temperature normally led to an increase of the slope of the tie line, decreasing the quantity of carbohydrate necessary for phase separation and increasing the biphasic area.
