Densities and viscosities of the binary mixtures of methanol + DMF and ethanol + DMF have been measured over several temperatures at atmospheric pressure. The measurements were carried out over the whole range of compositions, using a vibrating-tube density meter and an Ubbelohde viscometer. The densities are used to calculate excess molar volumes for each of the systems. The experimental values of excess molar volumes have been compared with those reported by other authors available in the literature.
