Effects of surface tension and bubble diameter on bubble breakage time under microgravity
The effects of surface tension and bubble diameter on the bubble breakage time in water and ethanol solutions were experimentally investigated on the ground and under microgravity. Bubble breakage times increase as the bubble diameter increases and as the surface tension decreases. The calculated results from the correlation equation were consistent with the data measured on the ground and under microgravity.
