Solvent free irradiation cross-linkable adhesives based on polyacrylates
In addition to classical hot-melts, the development of irradiation crosslinkable adhesives, in particular UV crosslinkable hot-melt compounds, is being carried out to an ever greater extent in the adhesive industry. The generation of the new UV radiation crosslinkable self-adhesive polyacrylates does not contain any double bonds and is characterized by its high temperature stability. The photo-reactive adjustment of the polyacrylate is achieved with the integration of a polymerizable photoinitiator in the main chain or by the modification of the side chain with a photoinitiator-capable of addition.
