The new Nordel MG EPDM rubber is particularly suitable for continuous mixing due to its unique morphology. This is verified by tests, where a "powder compound" obtained by premixing NDR 37060 with oil and carbon black is fed into a co-rotating twin-screw extruder. With Nordel, this technique provides outstanding results in terms of productivity (700 kg/h) and compound quality (component dispersion) and could be an alternative to a batch mixer (100 l).
