Composite products have so far escaped materials recycling since it is so difficult to separate the individual components from each other. A new method now makes it possible to recover resins from material composites. The composite, placed in a centrifuge, is exposed in the presence of heat to strong radial acceleration that forces the melted constituents to separate.
