Regular offline control of the rubber compounds is an important part of present-day quality assurance concepts in the production of elastomer products. Since many of the tests involved in this are very time and cost intensive - and are also often inadequate for the intended purpose - an online quality assurance system has been developed in an effort to improve the process of evaluating the compound properties.
