In close collaboration between the plastics manufacturer and customer, highly stable water filters for commercial use have been developed. In this application, the strict EU directives governing materials in contact with food and the regulations specified by the German Association of Gas and Water Engineers (DVGW) based on generally recognised engineering practice were of key importance.
