3D SIMULATION. Mould-filling simulation provides significantly improved understanding of the process as well as insight into processing details. For foaming polyurethanes, however only very few computational approaches have been available to date. By integrating material models with an overall fluid mechanical model, a simulation tool has now been developed that can be used for many PU applications.
