Time-to-failure and fracture surface comparison tests confirm it: When investigating crack formation in PE100 resins, different results are obtained not only from full notch und 2-notch creep tests. Even 2-notch tests are not always comparable among themselves. The results depend on the side of the test specimen that is notched.
