Wireless monitoring making inroads
Networked businesses have a multitude of wireless voice and data communications devices from which to choose, and power plants are no exception. In the '90s, plant performance data was pushed to the remote desktop. Today, the quantity of data available to plant operators is greater than ever because virtually any information you need can be pushed to that PDA in your pocket using off-the-shelf wireless systems.
