Salt Valley Generating Station, Lincoln, Nebraska
Salt Valley Generating Station was designed to be a cost-effective, intermediate-load generating resource for the city of Lincoln, Nebraska. The 175-MW, natural gas-fired plant can be cycled daily. Powered by three LM6000 Combustion turbines and capable of operating in simple-cycle or combined-mode, Salt Valley maximizes the ability of Lincoln Electric System to match the plant's output to Lincoln's electrical demand.
