Engineering resins for rotomolding - Underused materials could support rotational molding's future growth
For the business of rotational molding, future growth may depend on using alternative resins for new applications. Polyethylene in its various forms has by far been the resin family of choice for rotomolding, but higher-value resins present opportunities (and challenges). In this small but resilient group of molders, interest in engineering materials was noticeable at ANTEC(TM) 2008, perhaps because these materials could help restore growth rates rotational molders haven't seen for some time.
