The data published over the last ten years on the methods for determining and concentrating phenols are surveyed. Basic problems arising in the development of advanced techniques for the determination of phenols, including the determination of some of their derivatives, are considered. Significant attention is given to electrochemical determination methods and their combination with various concentration procedures for phenolic compounds.
