Effects of the cationic composition of the fibrous sulfonated cation exchanger FIBAN K-1 and the nature of amine ligands in immobilized copper(II) complexes on their activity in oxidation of alpha-pinene
The activity of copper-containing catalyst systems based on the fibrous sulfonated cation exchanger FIBAN K-1, Cu2+M+/K-1 and [Cu2+(L)(x)]M+/K-1, where M+ is an alkali metal and L is an amine lioand, was examined in the oxidation of alpha-pinene. It was found that the catalytic activity was affected by the cationic composition of the ion exchanger, the nature of the amine ligand, and the copper content.
