Hybrid macromolecular iron and copper complexes in the phenol hydroxylation reaction
Macromolecular iron and copper complexes based on hybrid materials with grafted polyamine polymers have been synthesized. It has been shown that the silica gel-immobilized iron complexes with polyallylamine-supported EDTA and copper complexes with polyethyleneimine exhibit a high activity in phenol hydroxylation with hydrogen peroxide. The catalysts can be recycled without the loss of activity.
