The kinetics of the main oxidation reactions of lithium complex grease based on a blend of poly-alpha-olefin oil with a pentaerythritol fatty acid ester were studied in the initiated oxidation and autooxidation modes. The specifics of the kinetic behavior of the lubricant during oxidation were shown. A model system for testing oxidation inhibitors was developed.
