Memory of the Substrate Solution Interaction in the Properties of Ultrafiltration Membranes Prepared by the Phase-Inversion Method
The productivity and some structural properties of membranes made by the casting of aromatic polyamide on various substrates are found to be sensitive to the wetting characteristics of the used substrate. The influence of the interaction substrate/solution expands through the membrane bulk up to the "free" surface which was not in contact with the substrate.
