Part I of this tutorial (June 2000 Power Engineering Journal) described a lamp/eye/brain model that is incorporated in European flicker standards and in the specification of a flicker meter Part 2 describes and illustrates voltage fluctuation study techniques to meet these flicker standards and suggests possible remedial measures to rectify flicker problems. It also discusses flicker compensator performance and system tests.
